Eric Buchalter

Managing Principal

Eric is a Managing Principal in Georgia with Capital Growth Buchalter, where he leads capital sourcing, investment strategy, and the full range of activities that support the firm’s growth. He has facilitated the financing of more than $200 million in transactions and works to develop and maintain relationships with retail, healthcare, educational, and residential organizations across the country. Eric plays a central role in CGB’s development processes, working to improve the company’s deal sourcing, site selection, site-based location analytics, and business development methods.

Eric earned his bachelor’s degree in finance at the University of Texas at San Antonio and holds a master’s degree in real estate development from Georgia Tech. He is a CCIM Charter Member and a licensed real estate salesperson in Alabama and Georgia.

Prior to starting his professional career, Eric was a student-athlete at the University of Texas at San Antonio. While competing in tennis for UTSA, he was awarded team captain and finished as the team’s number two player.

Fluent in both spoken and written Spanish, Eric served with AJC ACCESS Atlanta for five years, an organization that works to bridge relations among Jewish, Black, and Hispanic communities, and is a member of Capital City Club in Atlanta. In his free time, Eric enjoys playing golf, competing in padel, and spending time with his wife, Sarah, their daughter, Ruby, and their dog, Tate.
